EOS EOS P 396 — Technical data

For years the EOS P 396 was EOS's mid-size production SLS system: 340 × 340 × 600 mm build volume, a 70 W CO₂ laser and a very broad material offering – from standard polyamides and flame-retardant PA 2210 FR and PA 2241 FR to TPU and Alumide. It is designed for economical series production of plastic parts and can be integrated into closed-loop powder handling with the IPCM P system. Its successor is the EOS P3 NEXT with the same build volume.

The P 396 is well represented on the used market. Key points are laser hours, condition of heaters and recoater, the amount and type of powder handling included, and the software licence.
