The EOS M4 ONYX is EOS's new large-format platform and replaces the M 300-4 and M 400. Six 400 W lasers work on a 450 × 450 mm field with 400 mm build height – designed for high productivity in series production. At launch, IN718 and Ti64 are qualified; more materials are likely to follow.

As a new system, the M4 ONYX hardly appears on the used market yet. Anyone offering or looking for one should clarify software and licence status, service contract and warranty situation in particular detail.
