EOS EOS M 400 — Technical data
The EOS M 400 is the large-format single-laser system of the M series: 400 × 400 × 400 mm build volume and a 1000 W fibre laser. It suits large single parts that do not fit on an M 290 – structural components, housings or tooling inserts – as well as densely packed build plates with many medium-sized parts. EOS lists it as phased out; data sheet and service continue.
A used M 400 is a way to get a large build volume at a lower price. Check laser hours, maintenance, inert gas and filter technology, and the power connection on site (1 × 50 A, peak consumption up to 50 kW).
