EOS EOS M 290-2 — Technical data
The EOS M 290-2 equips the proven M 290 platform with two 400 W lasers, each covering the full 250 × 250 mm field. This cuts build time considerably for the same build volume and makes the system attractive for series production of small and medium metal parts. Qualified materials include common alloys such as AlSi10Mg, stainless steel, IN718 and Ti64.
Used units are rarer than the single-laser version. Key points are the hours on both lasers, calibration of the laser overlap, service history and the software licence situation.
