EOS EOS M 290 1kW — Technical data

The EOS M 290 1kW is the high-power version of the M 290: the same 250 × 250 × 325 mm build volume, but a 1000 W fibre laser instead of 400 W. The extra power is aimed mainly at copper and copper alloys, which reflect laser light strongly and conduct heat away quickly – typical parts are inductors, heat exchangers and rocket or combustion chamber components. Maraging steel and IN718 are also qualified.
