EOS EOS M 290 — Technical data

The EOS M 290 is widely regarded as the standard machine of industrial metal additive manufacturing. With a 400 W fibre laser it builds parts up to 250 × 250 × 325 mm and, with more than 35 materials qualified by EOS – from aluminium and stainless and tool steels to nickel and titanium alloys – covers almost every field: aerospace, medical, tool and mould making, series parts. Because it is so widespread, parameters, service providers and know-how are easy to find.

The M 290 is correspondingly common on the used market. Its value depends on laser hours, service history, the condition of filter system and optics, the unlocked material parameters and whether software and monitoring licences can be transferred.
