EOS FORMIGA P 110 FDR — Technical data

The FORMIGA P 110 FDR uses a 40 W CO laser with a much smaller focus instead of the usual CO₂ laser. This allows finer details and wall thicknesses from 220 µm – EOS calls it Fine Detail Resolution. The system is intended for delicate plastic parts such as filters, lattice structures, connectors or medical devices. The build volume of 200 × 250 × 330 mm matches the rest of the FORMIGA range; PA 1101 and PA 1100 are qualified.

Used FDR systems are rare. Besides laser hours and the condition of heaters and recoater, the condition of the optics matters especially, since the fine resolution depends on it.
