EOS FORMIGA P 110 CMF — Technical data

The FORMIGA P 110 CMF brings the SLS process to metal: it prints a powder of metal and polymer binder at a low temperature of about 30 to 50 °C (Cold Metal Fusion). The resulting green parts – for example in Ti-6Al-4V – are then debound and sintered and reach powder-metallurgical quality. Advantages are support-free building, no inert gas in the printer and almost complete reuse of the powder. For this process EOS fitted the FORMIGA with titanium-compatible containers, pneumatic powder feeding and dedicated process monitoring.

Anyone considering a used CMF system should plan for the required post-processing (debinding, sintering furnace) and access to feedstock.
