EOS EOSINT P 760 — Technical data

EOS introduced the EOSINT P 760 in 2009 as a large-format dual-laser system for plastics. Two lasers working in parallel expose a 700 × 380 × 580 mm build volume at up to 6 m/s; according to third-party information, build rates of up to 700 cm³ per hour are possible. It processes polyamides, such as PrimePart PLUS, designed for a low refresh rate, as well as Alumide. A surface module, an exchangeable recoater blade for layer thicknesses from 60 to 180 µm and a cool-down station outside the machine are meant to shorten set-up and waiting times. In 2016 EOS brought out the P 770 as a new system in this size class.

A used P 760 weighs about 2.3 t and measures 2.25 × 1.16 × 2.10 m without peripherals, so transport and moving it into the building need planning. Check the hours of both lasers, scanners, heaters and recoater, the number and condition of exchangeable frames, and the cool-down station and powder conveying. For the large powder quantities, explosion protection and extraction at the site must be clarified; ask about spare parts supply and software version beforehand.
