EOS EOSINT P 730 — Technical data

The EOSINT P 730 is a large-format plastic laser sintering system from EOS with a 700 × 380 × 580 mm build volume. It was developed from the EOSINT P 700, which EOS introduced in 2000 as the first plastics system with two laser heads, and according to third-party information is up to 40 % more productive. It is intended for large parts and full build jobs: series, spare and functional parts as well as patterns for investment and vacuum casting in polyamide, in layers of 60 to 120 µm. Exposure is handled by digital IntelliScan 20 scanners. The high-temperature EOSINT P 800 is based on the P 730.

A used P 730 needs a lot of space, lifting equipment for the exchangeable frames and well-planned powder handling. Check hours and output of the lasers, scanners, heating and recoater, and the completeness of unpacking station and powder conveying. As technical documentation is hardly available publicly, manuals, wiring diagrams and software should be part of the delivery. Clarify spare parts and the control computer before buying.
