EOS EOSINT P 395 — Technical data
The EOSINT P 395 was launched in 2009 as a revised system of the P 3 series. With the same 340 × 340 × 620 mm build volume as the P 380 and P 390, it uses a 50 W CO₂ laser, scan speeds up to 8 m/s and a build rate of up to 31 mm per hour. Layer thicknesses from 0.06 to 0.18 mm can be selected depending on material and required surface. This makes it suitable for prototypes as well as small series in polyamide. Powder conveying, unpacking and powder recycling could be connected via Integrated Process Chain Management. The EOS P 396 followed in 2013.
With a used P 395, what counts is laser hours and laser output, the condition of heating, recoater and optics, the number of exchangeable frames and the scope of supply: are the nitrogen generator, chiller and unpacking station included? The machine weighs around 1,060 kg and requires 32 A and compressed air; explosion protection rules apply to powder handling.
