EOS Auspack- und Aufbereitungsstation P1 ATEX — Technical data

The unpacking and processing station P1 belongs to the FORMIGA systems of the P 1 series. Here the build job is taken out of the exchangeable frame after cooling, the parts are freed from the powder cake and the unsintered powder is sieved so that it can return to the cycle. The version described here is built for explosive dust atmospheres: the rating plate states the marking Ex II 2/3 D, a three-phase connection at 380 to 415 V and a power rating of 200 W; the station weighs 160 kg. EOS listed an unpacking and sieving station as an accessory for the FORMIGA P 100.

When buying a used station, the ATEX marking is only worth as much as its condition: earthing, equipotential bonding, seals and filters must be intact, and unapproved modifications can void conformity. Also check the sieve insert and mesh size, the extraction and the matching mount for the FORMIGA exchangeable frame. Operating instructions and the declaration of conformity should be included so the station can be added to the company's explosion protection document.
