Envisiontec GmbH Einstein Pro — Technical data

The Einstein Pro is a dental printer based on EnvisionTEC technology, sold under Desktop Metal through the dental brand Desktop Health. It uses continuous DLP exposure (cDLM, marketed as HyperPrint) at 385 nm and achieves 95 µm native and 63 µm enhanced XY resolution. The build volume is about 180 × 101 × 152 mm, and layer thickness can be set between 25 and 150 µm. It is used in dental labs and practices for applications ranging from models to dentures. According to the manufacturer it prints up to 50 % faster than its predecessor. Since 2025 the line has no longer been part of the Desktop Metal portfolio.

For a used Einstein Pro, material approvals are the key issue: dental resins must be validated for the device, and medical device requirements also apply to used equipment. Check projector hours, vat and platform, calibration records and the software licence. Whether service and resin supply are secured after the sale of EnvisionTEC should be clarified before buying.
