DyeMansion PowerFuse S — Technical data

The PowerFuse S is DyeMansion's vapour smoothing system for series production of polymer parts from powder bed fusion. In an 85-litre chamber with a basket of 610 × 340 × 315 mm, the smoothing agent VaporFuse VF47 condenses on the parts; according to the manufacturer it is non-toxic and free of PFAS. A run takes 45 to 180 minutes depending on the material, plus around one hour of heat-up that can be scheduled with a weekly timer. The system weighs 1.6 t, needs about 20 kW at 400 V with 63 A and can be combined with a manual or automatic loading unit. Processed materials include PA, TPU and ULTEM.

A used PowerFuse S requires careful site planning: high-current supply, extraction, storage of the smoothing agent and floor load capacity must all fit. Check chamber, door seal, heater, condenser and pumps, and ask to see maintenance logs. Which loading unit is included has a large effect on space and operation. Safety data sheet, remaining VF47 stock and the approved material programs belong in the package. DyeMansion should confirm commissioning and service at the new site.
