The XFAB 2500 is DWS's desktop laser printer, offered since Formnext 2017 in three versions: 2500SD for general applications, 2500HD for jewellery and 2500PD for dental labs. Technically it matches the XFAB 2000, with a cylindrical build volume of 180 mm diameter and 180 mm height, a BlueEdge solid-state laser and layers from 10 to 100 µm. It adds Tank Translation Technology, which shifts the vat so that the laser does not always strike the same spot. DWS still lists the 2500PD in its range today.

When buying used, first establish which version it is, since software profiles and approved resins depend on it; a dental unit comes with different material parameters from a jewellery unit. Resins come in DWS cartridges. Check the vat floor, the vat shift mechanism and the build platform. The room should be at 20 to 25 °C. As the XFAB software is tied to licences, login details and a working Windows PC belong with the offer.
