DMG Mori LASERTEC 125 DED hybrid — Technical data
DMG MORI's large LASERTEC 125 DED hybrid had its world premiere as the LASERTEC 125 3D hybrid at Formnext 2019 and is based on the monoBLOCK series. Travels are 1,335, 1,250 and 900 mm, and workpieces up to Ø 1,250 × 745 mm and 2,000 kg are possible. A fibre-guided diode laser of up to 3,000 W deposits metal powder through a coaxial nozzle in five axes. It is intended for building, repairing and coating large components such as turbine blades or die-casting inserts; according to the manufacturer, deposited layers reach up to 63 HRC without heat treatment.
With a used LASERTEC 125, size and weight come first: foundation, lifting gear for workpieces up to two tonnes and rigging are significant items, and the seller must provide machine weight and footprint. Then comes the double check as milling centre and laser system: spindle hours and geometry, laser hours, nozzles, powder feeders and the AM Assistant cameras. For repair work, the available parameter sets count. Licences for CELOS, Siemens NX and the control should be transferable in writing. Spare parts and service come from the DMG MORI network.
