Desktop Metal X25Pro — Technical data

The X25Pro is the mid-size model of the X-Series and was introduced in 2020 as the ExOne X1 25Pro. Two piezo printheads with a total of 2,048 nozzles build in a 400 × 250 × 250 mm box of about 25 litres and, according to the data sheet, reach up to 1,800 cm³/h at 100 µm layer thickness. Like the other X-Series machines it is open to third-party metal, ceramic or composite powders and supports five binder systems, including fast-curing TurboFuse. It bridges the gap between the InnoventX lab system and the large-format X160Pro and suits small batches and series development.

When buying used, the hours and condition of the printheads, recoater and compaction roller matter, as does which binders and parameter sets are included. The machine weighs around two tonnes and needs a three-phase supply, so plan transport and installation. Operation also requires curing, depowdering and a suitable sintering furnace. Service and spare parts now run through Arc Impact – get availability confirmed in writing beforehand.
