Desktop Metal X160Pro — Technical data
The X160Pro is the large-format model of the X-Series, originally the ExOne X1 160Pro. Its build box measures 800 × 500 × 400 mm (160 litres); four piezo printheads with 4,096 nozzles reach up to 3,120 cm³/h at 65 µm layer thickness according to the data sheet. It processes open metal, ceramic and composite powders, including stainless steels, IN718, tool steels and copper, and is designed for large parts and for series with many parts per job. Within the range it sits above the X25Pro and InnoventX, sharing their print technology and binder systems.
A used X160Pro is an industrial project: 3.7 tonnes, a 400 V three-phase supply and a footprint of roughly 3.6 × 2.4 m require planning for foundation, rigging and commissioning. Key points are the condition of the four printheads and the powder spreading mechanism, maintenance logs and available process parameters. Sintering furnaces with a matching work zone are needed too. As the brand has been owned by Arc Impact since 2025, service commitments and spare parts channels should be among the first questions.
