Delfin Z22 ZFR EV 420 — Technical data
The Z22 ZFR EV 420 is not a conventional vacuum but a fan-driven industrial dust extractor from Delfin Vacuums' ZFR EV family. It produces only 180 mm water column of vacuum but moves up to 1,000 m³/h of air and is built to capture fine dust and chips right at the source. The marking II 1/3D Ex h IIIC Da/Dc stands for zone 20 inside and zone 22 outside. The drive runs on 400 V; the data table states 1.15 kW, the type code 0.75 kW. Filtration uses an antistatic star filter of 20,000 cm² and an H14 absolute filter; the unit is 180 cm tall and weighs 60 kg.
For a used unit, first establish which options are fitted: Delfin offers container, chamber and trolley in stainless steel as well as a PTFE-coated class M filter. A 400 V three-phase supply is needed on site. Bearing noise or imbalance at the fan indicates wear. As the filter class is contradictory in the manufacturer's data, read it off the installed element. The unit is not rated for zone 21 outside, and Delfin makes no statement on reactive metal powders.
