Creaform HandyPROBE Next+ Elite — Technical data

The HandyPROBE Next+ Elite is the more accurate version of the optical handheld probe. With the same 0.5 kg probe, the manufacturer states 0.025 mm accuracy and volumetric accuracy of 0.064 mm in 9.1 m³, 0.075 mm in 16.6 m³ and 0.100 mm in the large 46.7 m³ volume that the standard model lacks. The distance to the C-Track can be up to 6.0 m. It also offers setup assistance tools with diagnostic functions for part and fixture set-up. Acceptance testing follows ISO 10360.

Whether the 46.7 m³ volume is usable depends on the system configuration, so check the tracker and the joint acceptance report to ISO 10360-12 when buying used. The Elite functions and the Creaform.OS measurement software with Metrology Suite are licence-bound, and the manufacturer must confirm transfer to the new owner. Without a matching tracker calibrated with it, the probe cannot be used. Styli, batteries, charger, calibration artefacts and stand belong with it. Inspect the probe for drop marks, have the stylus balls measured and clarify CreaCare status.
