Creaform Go!SCAN 50 — Technical data
The Go!SCAN 50 was the larger model of the first Go!SCAN generation from 2014 and targeted medium to large parts from 0.3 to 3 m. With white LED structured light it captures 550,000 measurements per second over a 380 × 380 mm scanning area at 400 mm stand-off and 250 mm depth of field. The trade portal gives accuracy as up to 0.100 mm and resolution as 0.500 mm. It weighs 950 g, uses USB 2.0 and VXelements and was superseded by the Go!SCAN SPARK.
When buying a used Go!SCAN 50, licence and software status are the main question: is VXelements validly licensed, does the manufacturer transfer the licence, and does the software still run on current Windows PCs? Calibration plate, targets, USB cable and power supply should be included; an up-to-date calibration certificate is rare at this age, so plan a recalibration. Check the LED light source and texture camera with a test scan. As the coarse 0.5 mm resolution is hardly sufficient for measuring tasks, it is better suited to visualisation and reverse engineering of rough shapes.
