BigRep VIIO 250 — Technical data

The BigRep VIIO 250 is a fully enclosed large-format printer for series production that came onto the market in June 2024. The build volume measures 1,000 × 500 × 500 mm and is heated to up to 50 °C, while the bed reaches 120 °C. Two Smart Manufacturing Extruders (SMX) with diamond nozzles from 0.4 to 1.0 mm process engineering and fibre-filled filaments such as PA12, PA6/66 or HI-TEMP CF at up to 350 °C. Its distinctive feature is automation: bed and axis calibration, relay mode with the second extruder as backup, and the optional Infinity Box, which keeps up to four 8 kg spools dry and reloads automatically.

Because the model is young, used units are mostly returns or surplus capacity. Important are print hours and maintenance logs of the SMX extruders, the condition of the SWITCHPLATE plates and whether Infinity Boxes are included. The seller should document software level and transferability of warranty and accounts. The power supply is single-phase at 16 A; with Infinity Boxes the weight exceeds 600 kg.
