Bambu Lab P1S — Technical data

The P1S is the enclosed printer of Bambu Lab's P1 series and takes over the CoreXY mechanics, electronics and motion control of the X1, but omits the lidar, the large colour display and the hardened hot end. The plastic and glass enclosure houses a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume; the all-metal hot end reaches 300 °C, the bed 100 °C. With up to 500 mm/s and 20 m/s² acceleration it is designed for fast everyday printing, and an AMS can be attached for multi-colour work. Bambu Lab keeps it in the range alongside the newer P2S.

The P1S is common on the used market, including units from print farms with very high operating hours, so ask specifically. The stainless steel nozzle tolerates carbon- or glass-filled filaments only briefly, so inspect nozzle and extruder gears or retrofit a hardened hot end. Check belts, Z lead screw bearings and the chamber fan. The camera only delivers still frames, which is enough for remote monitoring. The seller must remove the printer from their Bambu account, otherwise it stays locked. Spare parts are readily available from the manufacturer's shop.
