Artec Turntable — Technical data

The Artec Turntable is a motorised turntable for scanning small objects with Artec's handheld scanners. It connects to Artec Studio via Bluetooth and rotates the part automatically while the operator only moves the scanner up and down; if tracking is lost, it stops, turns back a little and resumes as soon as the scanner regains tracking. It carries up to 3 kg, takes 13 seconds for one rotation and measures 250 × 250 × 45 mm. Artec first released it in 2019 for the Space Spider; today Artec lists the Eva, Leo and Spider II as compatible.

Used turntables usually appear bundled with a Spider or Space Spider and have modest value on their own. Check that the platter turns evenly without jerking, that the surface is undamaged and that the power supply is included. Pairing requires Artec Studio version 13 or later and Bluetooth on the scanning computer; the turntable has no licence of its own.
