Arburg freeformer 750-3X — Technical data

The freeformer 750-3X is the largest and newest model of ARBURG's freeformer range, documented from the end of 2022. Its part carrier has an area of 750 cm², the build volume measures 330 × 230 × 230 mm, and up to three discharge units plasticise standard granulate and deposit it droplet by droplet. Compared with the smaller models, the discharge rate rises to up to 57 cm³/h. In the high-temperature version the chamber reaches 200 °C and plasticising 450 °C, opening up high-performance plastics. With ARBURG's exit from additive manufacturing at the end of 2025, this model was discontinued as well.

Used 750-3X units are young but orphaned systems: ARBURG continues to promise service and spare parts, but there will be no further development. Before buying, clarify whether it is the standard or HT version, how many discharge units are fitted and which material data sets are unlocked. The system weighs 1,250 kg, needs up to 7.8 kVA, instrument-quality compressed air and an air-conditioned room below 50 per cent humidity. Check screws, nozzles and heating zones of the discharge units as well as the dryers, and arrange a handover with an ARBURG technician.
