Admatec Admaflex Discovery — Technical data

The Admaflex Discovery is a benchtop unit that Admatec presented in October 2026, aimed mainly at universities and newcomers to ceramic manufacturing. It takes over the basic principles of the Admaflex 130 Evolution: foil system, slurry recirculation, control of every layer and zero-point clamping of the build platform. The build volume is 96 × 54 × 110 mm at 50 µm image resolution, layer thickness ranges from 20 to 200 µm, and up to 150 layers per hour are stated. Materials are alumina, fused silica and base resins for in-house slurries.

As the model is new, used units will be rare at first. With any offer, clarify year of manufacture, software version and any upgrade, since Admatec treats an upgraded unit as a separate model. Check the projector, foil and vat as well as the process camera. At 700 × 560 × 525 mm the unit is compact, but it also needs a room climate of around 22 degrees with low humidity. Finished ceramic parts additionally need a debinding and sintering furnace; ask whether one is included.
