Admatec Admaflex 300 — Technical data
The Admaflex 300 is Admatec's large system and was presented at Formnext 2019. Like the Admaflex 130 it uses DLP exposure of ceramic or metal slurry on a foil, but it has a much larger build plate for series and large single parts. The first generation offered build plates up to 200 × 200 mm with 300 mm build height, optionally 500 mm; today the manufacturer quotes up to 260 × 220 × 520 mm depending on configuration. Layers from 10 to 200 µm and up to 300 layers per hour are stated.
Because the system was sold in several configurations, buying used starts with the exact set-up: build plate, projection resolution and build height. Depending on the generation it weighs around 500 to 650 kg, so check floor space and floor load beforehand. Foil, material container and doctor blade wear; dried slurry in the circuit is a warning sign. Software and parameter sets for the materials used so far matter just as much, as do debinding and sintering furnaces large enough for the big green parts.
