Admatec 450-CH-180 — Technical data
The 450-CH-180 is the compact furnace in Admatec's range, in which printed ceramic green parts are first debound and then sintered without being moved. The chamber measures 180 × 180 × 200 mm and the maximum temperature is 1,700 °C in air. It has six Kanthal Super heating elements, insulation made of rigid ceramic fibre boards and a Eurotherm EPC 3008 controller with ten programmes. Connected load is 8 kW, of which 1 kW is for the preheater; it runs on 400 V three-phase or 208 V at 60 Hz.
When buying used, the heating elements matter most, since molybdenum disilicide rods age with every high-temperature cycle and break if handled roughly. Cracks or spalling on the fibre boards point to overheating or moisture. During debinding the resin decomposes, so the exhaust path and preheater should be clear and working. The programmes stored in the controller show which materials were fired last. Admatec only states operation in air, so the furnace is not intended for metal parts under protective gas. The site needs three-phase power and an exhaust option.
