3D Systems sPro 60 HD — Technical data
The sPro 60 HD is the base version of 3D Systems' compact sPro 60 laser sintering system. A 30 W CO₂ laser with a digital ProScan CX scanner sinters plastic powder in a 381 × 330 × 437 mm build volume; sales documents state 6 m/s scan speed and about 1 litre per hour. It processes DuraForm polyamides. The sister HD-HS version has a 70 W laser and almost twice the build rate, and below it there was an SD version at 5 m/s. The line is discontinued; the SLS 380 now offers a build volume of the same size.
The base HD suits users who produce prototypes and small series without time pressure and do not need maximum throughput. When buying, have the rating plate and laser power confirm that it is not an HS, and clarify which powders are approved – the manufacturer lists Flex, TPU and FR1200 only for the HD-HS. The system needs a three-phase supply. Check laser, heaters, roller and scanner, and plan sieving and mixing equipment for the manually prepared powder.
