3D Systems SLS 300 — Technical data

The SLS 300 is a compact laser sintering system documented by 3D Systems in a 2025 user guide. A CO₂ laser of up to 50 W sinters plastic powders such as PA11, supplied in 2.5 kg cartridges. A separate Atmosphere Generator produces the protective atmosphere, and parts are cleaned in a dedicated Water Jet Cabinet. The system is operated via the WeMote touchscreen, while job preparation and remote monitoring run on the Deep Space platform. At 310 kg and 170 × 75 × 60 cm it is considerably smaller than the SLS 380. The available document does not state build volume or layer thickness.

The system runs on 230 V at around 10 A; Water Jet Cabinet and Atmosphere Generator each need their own fuse. When buying, both auxiliary units should definitely be included. Also important are the laser power, which the maintenance plan checks with a power meter, the condition of the optics, a vacuum cleaner approved for combustible dust and whether the Deep Space account can be transferred. As the model is not in the current product overview, ask the manufacturer about support and material supply.
