3D Systems ProX SLS 6100 — Technical data

The ProX SLS 6100 was 3D Systems' laser sintering system before the SLS 380 and shares its core data: 100 W CO₂ laser, 381 × 330 × 460 mm build volume, 0.08 to 0.15 mm layers and up to 2.7 litres per hour. Powder is blended, recycled and fed automatically. It processes DuraForm ProX materials – polyamides, glass-, aluminium- and mineral-filled grades and a flame-retardant type. 3D Systems now redirects the product page to the SLS 380.

For a used purchase, laser hours, heater and roller condition and the completeness of powder peripherals are decisive; without MQC and breakout station, operation is cumbersome. As the model is discontinued, clarify whether the manufacturer still offers service and software updates. The 208 V three-phase supply and the weight of almost 1.4 t without peripherals must suit the site.
