3D Systems ProX DMP 320 — Technical data

The ProX DMP 320 was the production machine of the ProX DMP generation and the forerunner of today's DMP 350 platform. A 500 W fibre laser builds on a 275 × 275 mm footprint, and the machine works under argon with a scraper as recoater. Removable build modules already allowed quick material or job changes. Approved materials were mainly titanium alloys (Gr1, Gr5, Gr23), Ni718 and 316L. The old product page now redirects to the DMP Flex 350; documentation is only available in the support portal.

On the used market the 320 can be an inexpensive alternative to the Flex 350 if its condition is right. Check laser hours, scanner and optics, filter system, maintenance logs and the build modules included. The controller originally ran on Windows 7 – clarify whether updates and a current software environment are available, as well as future spare parts supply from 3D Systems.
