3D Systems ProX DMP 200 — Technical data

The ProX DMP 200 was the mid-size model of the ProX DMP generation, designed for small precision parts and – with the ProX DMP Dental software option – dental applications. A 300 W fibre laser builds on a 140 × 140 mm footprint; build height is stated as 100 to 125 mm depending on the data sheet. Powder is spread with a roller and fed semi-automatically. Materials processed were cobalt-chrome, 17-4PH and 316L stainless steels, maraging steel and the aluminium alloy AlSi12, under nitrogen or argon. The footprint matches today's DMP Flex 200, which uses a 500 W laser.

Anyone buying a used ProX DMP 200 should have laser hours, optics, roller and filter system checked and ask to see the maintenance logs. A 400 V three-phase supply at the site, a working chiller and the unlocked material parameters also matter. As the machine is no longer sold, clarify future spare parts supply and software support before buying.
