3D Systems ProX 950 — Technical data

The ProX 950 is the largest SLA system 3D Systems offered in the ProX line. Its 1500 × 750 × 550 mm build volume allows parts up to 1.5 m long and 150 kg in one piece, such as large prototypes, design and master models or investment casting patterns. It exposes with two beam sizes per layer (125 µm for contours, 750 µm for areas), and the Accura resin sits in an exchangeable Material Delivery Module. The system is considered discontinued, although its product page is still online.

A used ProX 950 is a major project: about 1.7 t without the resin module, over 2.2 m wide, a 50 A supply and a room held at 20–26 °C. The vat holds a large resin volume, so the condition and age of the fill strongly affect value. Laser hours, recoater and optics condition and whether the manufacturer still provides service and spare parts also count. Dismantling, transport and recommissioning costs belong in the calculation as well.
