3D Systems ProJet MJP 3600W — Technical data

The ProJet MJP 3600W is the standard version of the 3600 range's wax printer for jewellery, dental work and investment casting. It prints burnout patterns in pure wax, VisiJet M3 CAST or M3 Hi-Cast, with S400 support wax. HD mode (32 µm) offers 298 × 185 × 203 mm, while the fine UHD (20 µm) and XHD (16 µm) modes use only 152 mm of width according to the 2019 data sheet – the 3600W Max offers 284 mm there. Housing, weight and power connection match the plastic MJP 3600. The model is no longer actively sold.

The standard W is enough for shops that cast fine patterns in small batches and print larger parts in HD. Before buying, check whether M3 CAST and Hi-Cast can still be sourced, since the printer is unusable without suitable wax. Check print head condition, operating hours and heating, and have printed sample patterns burned out. For 230 V the external transformer must be included. Older documents give different dimensions for the fine modes, so confirm the variant on the rating plate.
