3D Systems ProJet MJP 2500W — Technical data

The ProJet MJP 2500W is the original wax version of the MJP 2500 platform. It builds patterns from VisiJet M2 CAST with 16 µm layers in a 294 × 211 × 144 mm build volume and is aimed at jewellery makers and shops casting small parts by the lost-wax method. The M2 SUW support wax is removed after printing and the pattern goes straight into investment. Housing, weight (211 kg) and power connection match the plastic MJP 2500. It was superseded by the 2500W Plus with an additional ZHD mode.

On the used market the 2500W is an affordable way into wax printing. Check the print head and print hours, how opened material bottles were stored and the room temperature at the site, since the printer slows down above 25 °C. Because the model is discontinued, clarify material availability, spare parts and service options before buying.
