3D Systems ProJet MJP 2500 — Technical data

The ProJet MJP 2500 is the entry model of 3D Systems' compact MultiJet range for plastic parts. In HD mode it prints 32 µm layers into a 294 × 211 × 144 mm build volume using rigid VisiJet M2 plastics; wax supports are melted off after printing. Typical uses are design models, fit checks and small parts with a smooth surface. Compared with the later 2500 Plus it lacks the UHD mode and the wider material range with elastomeric, heat-resistant and biocompatible grades.

Anyone considering a used 2500 should first find out which materials are still approved and available for the base version. Print head condition, operating hours and whether the machine ran regularly also matter. As the model is now listed only in the support portal, check service contract options and spare parts supply in advance; an EasyClean station or finisher makes post-processing much easier.
