3D Systems ProJet Finisher — Technical data

The ProJet Finisher is a 3D Systems convection oven used to melt out the wax support material of MultiJet parts. The chamber measures 460 × 460 × 300 mm, and temperature can be controlled between 35 and 204 °C to within ±0.5 °C. With 1.2 kW of heating power it reaches 150 °C without load in about 17 minutes. There is a 240 V and a 120 V version, both with a power cord. 3D Systems lists the Finisher as an option for ProJet and MJP printers such as the MJP 2500 and 3600 series; in the ProJet 4500 guide it is used to melt the infiltration wax. For large build plates there is the ProJet Finisher XL.

Used, the Finisher is a robust unit with few wear parts. Check the temperature controller, thermocouple and over-temperature protection, door seal and fan. At 63 kg it is not light; two stacked ovens must not exceed about 180 kg in total. The voltage must match the grid, as the 120 V version would need a transformer in Europe. Shelf and stainless steel tray should be included.
