3D Systems ProJet CJP 660Pro — Technical data

The ProJet CJP 660Pro is a full-colour 3D printer using ColorJet technology: five print heads apply cyan, magenta, yellow and black binder onto a white powder bed, layer by layer at 0.1 mm. Build volume is 254 × 381 × 203 mm and resolution 600 × 540 dpi. The machine was used for presentation and marketing models, architecture, visualising FEA results and medical demonstration models. After printing, parts are depowdered inside the machine and usually infiltrated to increase strength and colour depth. 3D Systems has discontinued CJP technology.

When buying a used 660Pro, print heads and powder handling are the key points: wear parts, seals and extraction should be serviced. Above all, check whether VisiJet PXL powder, binder and print heads can still be sourced. Infiltration requires a suitable workstation with extraction, such as the optional down-draft bench.
