3D Systems ProJet CJP 460Plus — Technical data

The ProJet CJP 460Plus is the colour-capable mid-range model of the ColorJet range. It shares housing and build volume (203 × 254 × 203 mm) with the monochrome 360 but uses two print heads and prints in cyan, magenta and yellow. At up to 23 mm per hour it is slightly faster than the smaller models; resolution and layer thickness are 300 × 450 dpi and 0.1 mm. It was intended for coloured concept models, teaching and presentation where the 260Plus is too small and the 660Pro too elaborate. The range is discontinued.

On a used 460Plus, check print heads, powder feed, depowdering and extraction thoroughly; a current colour test print shows whether heads and colour calibration are in order. As the technology is no longer developed, secure powder, binder, infiltrants and spare parts before buying. Infiltration needs a well-ventilated area.
