3D Systems ProJet CJP 260Plus — Technical data

The ProJet CJP 260Plus is the compact entry point into the ColorJet range. Two print heads apply cyan, magenta and yellow binder onto a powder bed; the 236 × 185 × 127 mm build volume suits concept and presentation models in offices, schools or universities. Resolution is 300 × 450 dpi with 0.1 mm layers, and the smallest printable feature is 0.8 mm. At 165 kg and with a standard mains connection it is the lightest machine in the range. Like all CJP printers it is discontinued.

Used 260Plus printers are often cheap, but operation depends on the availability of VisiJet PXL powder, binder and print heads – clarify this before buying. Also check the powder circuit, depowdering and extraction, and the age of the print heads. For strong colours the parts are infiltrated, which requires a ventilated workstation.
