3D Systems ProJet 6000 HD — Technical data

The ProJet 6000 HD is the smaller sibling of the ProJet 7000 HD and uses the same laser stereolithography with two beam sizes: 75 µm for contours, 750 µm for interiors. The build volume is 250 × 250 × 250 mm, or half or short height depending on the Material Delivery Module, and parts up to 9.6 kg are possible. Typical applications were fine prototypes, housings, jewellery and dental models and investment casting patterns. At 181 kg and with a single-phase 750 W supply it is comparatively easy to install. 3D Systems no longer lists it in the model overview, though the product page is still online.

With a used unit, spare parts and service come first: is a service contract still available, and can laser and recoater be sourced? Then consider laser hours, optics condition, the age of resin in the MDMs and whether the control PC still works with a current 3D Sprint version. Documentation is now only in the manufacturer's support portal.
