3D Systems ProJet 3510 HDPlus — Technical data

The ProJet 3510 HDPlus is the best-equipped 3510 of the ProJet 3500 plastic MultiJet range. It offers all three resolution levels: HD at 32 µm on 298 × 185 × 203 mm, plus UHD (29 µm) and XHD (16 µm, 750 × 750 × 1600 dpi) on 203 × 178 × 152 mm. The fine area is therefore larger than on the 3510 HD, but smaller than on the 3500 HDMax, which runs all modes on the full build volume. Materials are the rigid VisiJet M3 plastics including Procast; the five-year print head warranty was standard. The range is discontinued.

The HDPlus is a sound compromise for users who need the finest surfaces for jewellery, dental or casting patterns but mostly print mid-sized parts. When buying, check that XHD is actually available and runs without faults – a test print in the finest mode shows nozzle condition most clearly. Have service history, heaters and material feed documented. For 200–240 V the external transformer is part of it; clarify the software version and the Windows version of the control PC.
