3D Systems NextDent 5100 — Technical data

The NextDent 5100 is 3D Systems' dental printer based on Figure 4 technology. A 405 nm projector cures the resin layer by layer through a non-contact membrane; the build volume is 124.8 × 70.2 × 196 mm. According to the manufacturer, a plate of full-arch models prints in about 40 minutes. The printer processes NextDent resins for denture bases, try-ins, temporary crowns and bridges, surgical guides, splints, models, trays, gingiva masks and castable parts. The system includes the LC-3DPrint Box for UV post-curing and the LC-3DMixer; both are purchased separately.

When buying used, check projector hours, the condition of resin tray and membrane, and the build platforms. For medical device production it matters that materials, post-curing and validation fit together – a missing Print Box or a different curing unit may require revalidation. Also clarify software access via 3D Sprint, the 3D Connect link and warranty.
