3D Systems Figure 4 Standalone — Technical data

The Figure 4 Standalone is the entry point to 3D Systems' Figure 4 platform: a benchtop unit that builds photopolymer parts with a DLP projector (1920 × 1080 pixels, 65 µm pixel pitch, 405 nm) in a 124.8 × 70.2 × 196 mm build area. It is used for fast prototypes, functional parts, casting patterns and medical applications; resin is poured by hand from 1 kg bottles. At 34.5 kg and with a single-phase connection it can be installed almost anywhere. The modular Figure 4 Modular and Production variants use the same imaging technology with more build height and automation.

Buying used, you are mainly buying a projector and a resin tray with a limited service life – ask about projector hours and membrane condition. Because a separate UV post-cure is required, clarify whether an LC-3DPrint Box or another curing unit is included. Also check that the printer runs with 3D Sprint, whether the pedestal is included and how old any resin stock is.
