3D Systems Figure 4 Production — Technical data

Figure 4 Production is the fully automated factory version of Figure 4 technology. A Control Cell runs cells of four print engines each, which build parts in a 124.8 × 70.2 × 346 mm volume using a DLP projector (1920 × 1080 pixels, 405 nm); washing, drying and post-curing can be integrated into the workflow. 3D Systems states up to 65 mm/h in production mode, with resin supplied from 9 kg cartridges. It is aimed at series manufacturers, for example of small parts in high volumes, who want to print around the clock with little staff.

A used Production system is a system purchase: Control Cell, print cells and post-processing should be taken over as a working set and recommissioned by the manufacturer or a service partner. Check projector hours on all print engines, tray condition, the control software and the power supply – the documented version runs on 208 V three-phase at 60 A. With more than 700 kg for the base configuration, transport also needs planning.

1 · Buy

Matching used machines for this material and build volume.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
