Figure 4 Modular is the scalable version of the Figure 4 platform. A central controller runs one printer at first and up to 24 later; each printer uses a DLP projector (1920 × 1080 pixels, 405 nm) to expose a 124.8 × 70.2 × 346 mm build area, considerably taller than the Standalone. Resin is supplied from 2.5 kg cartridges and refilled automatically, and each printer can be dedicated to its own material. The system suits companies that want to ramp up photopolymer short runs step by step without buying the fully automated Figure 4 Production straight away.

If you take over used modules, make sure controller and printers belong together and whether add-on printers are usable without a controller. For each printer, projector hours and resin tray condition count. Since the system needs compressed air and is almost 2.1 m tall, check the room and connections beforehand. Post-cure units such as the UV Cure Unit 350 are sold separately.
