3D Systems Figure 4 Jewelry — Technical data

The Figure 4 Jewelry is a jewellery version of the 3D Systems Figure 4 platform. DLP technology exposes whole layers at once, building casting patterns and prototypes for rings, pendants and settings in a short time. According to third-party figures, the build volume is 124.8 × 68.2 × 196 mm and the in-plane resolution 65 µm. At around 34.5 kg and with a footprint of about 43 × 49 cm, the unit fits on a workbench or stand. The jewellery version no longer appears in the manufacturer's current Figure 4 overview; for jewellery casting patterns 3D Systems now names the Figure 4 Standalone and the MJP wax printers.

When buying, ask to see the resins actually approved, because castability depends on the material, not only on the printer. Check projector hours, the condition of resin tray and membrane, build platform and calibration. Post-processing requires a washing step and a UV post-curing unit such as the Figure 4 UV Cure Unit 350 or the LC-3DPrint Box. Clarify in advance whether software licence and material profiles can be transferred.
