3D Systems EXT 800 Titan Pellet — Technical data

The EXT 800 Titan Pellet is the smallest of 3D Systems' pellet extrusion printers. Instead of filament it processes plastic pellets of the kind used in injection moulding, reaching up to 13.6 kg of material throughput per hour. The build volume is 800 × 600 × 800 mm, nozzles range from 0.6 to 9 mm, and extruder, bed and chamber heat to 400, 140 and 80 °C. Besides ABS, PETG or PP, this allows carbon-fibre-filled PA, PEI and PEKK. Typical applications are fixtures, moulds, tooling and large functional parts; the larger EXT 1070 and 1270 models also offer milling heads.

Used, check the extruder screw and barrel first, as filled pellets are abrasive. Also assess servo drives, bed and chamber heating, available nozzle sets and a dryer for hygroscopic materials. The documented version runs on 208 V three-phase at 60 A – for European operation, clarify grid adaptation and CE documentation. At almost 2 t, a forklift is needed.
