3D Systems EXT 1070 Titan Pellet — Technical data
The EXT 1070 Titan Pellet is the middle model of 3D Systems' pellet printers and combines additive manufacturing with optional milling. In its 1070 × 1070 × 1118 mm build volume it produces moulds, fixtures, tooling or large parts from pellets at up to 13.6 kg per hour. The gantry takes up to three toolheads: besides the pellet extruder, a second pellet or a filament extruder and an 18,000 rpm milling spindle that finishes functional surfaces directly. The LT version offers 1219 mm of height but omits the spindle and second pellet extruder.
When buying used, first record the configuration: which heads are fitted, is it an LT version, are dryer and air filter included? Then check wear on extruder screw, nozzles and spindle, the condition of servos and guides, and bed and chamber heating. At over 2 t, 2.6 m tall and 208 V three-phase at 60 A, installation and grid adaptation need early planning.
